Istanbul is at the top of the world with tourism for 12 months

About 20 million of the 56.7 million tourists who came to Turkey last year visited Istanbul. Istanbul, which has recently become a role model for all provinces in 12-month tourism and income per tourist, has also become a world leader in the number of tourists it welcomes.

Turkey received tourism revenue of 54 billion 315 million dollars last year. In Istanbul, which provides 24 billion dollars of this income, the most spent tourism categories were listed as culture, gastronomy, shopping, cruise, health and congress tourism.
