Bali has started charging tourists for entering the country

Indonesia will charge an entry fee of $ 9.60 from foreign tourists coming to Bali.

Starting today, foreign tourists going to Bali, one of Indonesia’s popular tourist destinations, will pay 150,000 rupiah (7.60 euros, 9.60 dollars). Indonesian authorities have announced that the money will be used to protect the island’s environment and culture.

According to official data, 4.8 million tourists visited Bali last year. If similar numbers visit this year, Bali will have received almost $ 50 million in entrance fees from tourists. Those who are going to Bali will make the said fee via the Love Bali website before the trip.
